Stability problems after switching firewalls

Most common problems that new users encounter after installing Online Armor are due to components left over after uninstalling another firewall.

Unfortunately all software firewalls are inherently incompatible (except for the Windows Firewall), and many software firewalls can leave components behind after uninstalling. These components can sometimes cause the same problems as it would if the whole program was installed, which can be anything from hangs or program crashes to blue screens.

If you encounter any of these problems then you may need to clean up after the uninstalled firewall. Some have automated tools that you can run to clean up any left over components, and others have detailed instructions.
